Water Research has an open access mirror journal Water Research X, sharing the same aims and scope, editorial team, submission system and rigorous peer review. The Water Quality Research Foundation (WQRF), formerly the Water Quality Research Council (WQRC), was formed in 1952 to serve on behalf of the Water Quality Association as a universally recognized, independent research organization. The Water Research Foundation (WRF) is the leading research organization advancing the science of all water to meet the evolving needs of its subscribers and the water sector.
WEF also welcomes any organization that supports the preservation and enhancement of the global water environment. As a subscriber to The Water Research Foundation, your research investment is leveraged with the investments of approximately 1,200 utilities, consultants, and manufacturers to create the most comprehensive body of water research available—accessible at a fraction of the expense of self-directed research. The long-term goal of WQRF is to achieve sustained growth to conduct and fund scientific research on subjects relating to the water quality improvement industry. An independent, non-profit making UK-based organisation that promotes and disseminates research on all aspects of water, wastewater and related environmental issues. Corporate membership is available to companies that support the water environment profession and wish to affiliate their organization with the leaders of the water quality field.
