Tom Popielarski provides departmental leadership and manages the day-to-day operation of Human Resources and Payroll. A percentage of the tuition may be waived each Summer, Spring and Fall semesters, based on the availability of funds. The foundation enables private support of high-impact programs. The course must be credit-bearing and career-related or working toward a degree. This program is available to all full-time Research Foundation employees attending a SUNY-operated campus (not applicable for Community Colleges). The SUNY Impact Foundation is a first of its kind entity for The State University of New York, established to facilitate partnerships between the philanthropic community and the SUNY system. The Research Foundation is a private, nonprofit educational corporation whose primary responsibility is the administration of externally funded contracts and grants for and on behalf of the State University of New York. The Research Foundation for SUNY (RF) offers an array of benefits to eligible employees. The OM is responsible for all Research Foundation operations on campus, including; sponsored program administration services to the SUNY community (faculty, students, and staff) and stewardship to our sponsors of creating an environment to support and increase sponsored program funding The Research Foundation at SUNY Old Westbury assists interested faculty and staff members in the pursuit and management of grant and award opportunities. The University at Albany Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation organized for the purpose of encouraging philanthropic contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other organizations in support of activities and programs of the University at Albany. Research at ESF is remarkably diverse, current and challenging, with contributions being made in fields like aquatic ecosystems, bioenergy, biotechnology, biodiversity, ecology, genetic engineering, nanotechnology, remote sensing, wildlife disease prevention and many others.
