Oberlin Summer Research Institute (OSRI) workshops serve to provide all Oberlin undergraduate researchers on campus in the summer with the skills they need to conduct and present their research most effectively. “In a way, we created that in a research space but let it go beyond the boundaries of Oberlin’s physical space.” Pioneer launched its research program, which runs either from February to July or June to September, as a pilot in 2012 with four students and two professors. The Celebration of Undergraduate Research is an annual conference showcasing the summer research of Oberlin College and Conservatory students.

This session will address what an abstract is, in what contexts abstracts are typically used, and how they function in relationship to presenting your research. The company is this year expecting up to 220 students, Jaskol said.
